The Chelsea boot is a classic men's shoe model. It is an over-ankle boot characterized by two side rubber band inserts, right and left of the ankle, which, together with the pull-on loop, allow you to slip in quickly.

Designed as easy-to-remove riding boots by Queen Victoria’s shoemaker J. Sparkes-Hall, the Chelsea boot has had a chequered history.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Chelsea boots became popular in the UK – and their association with the King´s Road(a street in Chelsea and Fulham in inner western London) set of Swinging London – worn by everyone from the Rolling Stones to Jean Shrimpton – is believed to explain how the name Chelsea became attached to the boot.
